President of The Victory Companies of Wisconsin named Wisconsin Builders Association Builder of the Year
Germantown, WI – February 2025 — The Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) announced John Stoker, the president of The Victory Companies, Inc., has been selected as the 2024 Builder of the Year.
The Builder of the Year award is the highest honor WBA can bestow upon a builder member. Each year, one builder is recognized who has made an outstanding contribution to the housing industry in Wisconsin. Nominees are judged on their professionalism, level of activity within their local builder association, the WBA and on the National level as well as in their community.
John Stoker will officially accept the award at WBA’s Celebration of Housing event in June.
John has been a longtime, committed member of the Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA), Madison Area Builders Association and the Wisconsin Builders Association, as evidenced by his continued involvement and growth of the industry through mentorship within his own company and the industry as a whole.
Stoker was MBA’s Builder of the Year in 2018, and MBA President in 2017. He has also served on numerous committees and the Construction Arbitration Board. Betterment of the industy has always been important to John, as evidenced by Victory Homes’ continued commitment to the MBA’s Building Trades Career Day and his ongoing support of of education in the building & skilled trades industry.

In addition to his work supporting and bettering the housing industry, Stoker feels it’s important to give back for the success he’s found in his business. This year, Victory Homes of Wisconsin is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to build Wisconsin’s first Dream Home® Showplace. Their Acacia model is under construction in Waunekee’s Kilkenney Farms West subdivision, and will be available for viewings during the 2025 Madison Area Spring Parade of Homes. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this home will be donated to St. Jude in their mission to fight childhood cancer and other devastating diseases.
Stoker has recently been awarded several awards by the WBA that exemplify a Builder of the Year, including a 2024 Badger Craftsman Award for Best New Home ($1.25M-$2.25M), 2022 Badger Craftsman Award for Best New Home (Over $1.2M). John was also awarded the 2022 WBA Rising Star Award for his efforts toward the betterment of the housing industry.
