Hear what our Customers have to say about building with Victory Homes of Wisconsin
Before we selected Victory Homes to build our custom home, we visited homes from nearly every builder in the greater Milwaukee area. We first met our sales person during an MBA Parade of Homes, and we were impressed with her ability to answer our questions about Victory’s construction and subcontractors. Being familiar with the trades, I recognized that Victory used outstanding contractors and delivered exceptional work. After meeting with John Stoker, we were confident that Victory would and could do whatever it took to satisfy our needs. Every Victory team member and every contractor that was involved in building our home was knowledgeable and professional. We were on site every few days, so we met with all of them. If you’re looking for a custom home builder that Is knowledgeable, delivers an excellent product, and will go that extra mile, you should look no further than Victory Homes of Wisconsin.
We are so proud to live in such a beautiful home! We were apprehensive to build a new home since we designed and built our former home ourselves. After our initial meeting, it was apparent that they take just as much pride in the company's quality and craftsmanship as we would ourselves. The words 'Thank You' just don't seem to express the appreciation and gratitude we have toward the entire staff of Victory Homes of Wisconsin. The building experience was absolutely enjoyable because of the personalized attention we received from Victory Homes throughout the process, Dave Pluim during the design stages, Dave, our project manager, during the physical construction, and the entire staff all along the way. Thank you for always being available to us, addressing every concern we had, and helping us to accommodate ideas and changes along the way. We truly have a beautiful home that fits our family's lifestyle and needs, and reflects our personal style – even our affinity for nature. I'm sure that you are already aware of it, but you have a gifted staff of talented, caring and compassionate people.
We wanted to let you know how extremely happy we have been with the process – everything has gone so smoothly. Everyone that we worked with at Victory (and the Victory subcontractors) were extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Victory completely took what could be a stressful situation for a couple and turned it into something that we enjoyed and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat! John Nelson has been completely on top of everything, and the very few occasions that we brought something to his attention, he was already aware of it and had calls in place to have it corrected prior to us even mentioning it to him. He was also extremely helpful with getting us hooked up with people that we needed services from that were not part of our contract (for example, he had straw delivered to our lot so that we could meet the Waukesha County erosion control deadlines). Our house completely meets—actually it exceeds—our expectations! I also wanted to let you know that if you have customers interested in a Cambridge, we would love to show them our new home! Thanks so much for everything!
Everybody at Victory was very helpful throughout the whole process. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with our new home. This was our first building process, and the team at Victory was very helpful, informative, and understanding of our needs. We built one of Victory's smaller models, but received the same service & respect as if we were building a million-dollar home. John and his team exceeded our expectations!
As first-time home builders, there were three things we were most concerned about: 1. Will the process be easy or will we be filing for divorce upon completion? 2. Will we stay within budget or be broke before we move in? And 3. Will the house have the quality we saw while looking at Victory models? In short, the answers are simple: Easy (and very happily married). On budget. Superior quality. First, without exception, from Dave the architect, to John, our job manager, and every contractor in between—each was enjoyable to work with, great communicators and they knew their business well. Collectively they took what appeared to be a Herculean task and broke it down into understandable bite-sized bits for us to digest over time. We had timelines and directions to each person we needed to see. The Victory culture is dedicated to making us happy. One year later, our job manager, John, still gets back to us quickly with answers to questions. Second, we were able to easily stay on budget when picking out flooring, tile, appliances and the like because of the quality individuals who assisted us at each location. We were always shown what products were in our contract and then given the step up and the step down (rarely did we need to step up because "Victory Homes Standard" means high quality). With the additional help of Victory communicating changes, it was easy to make everything balance. We sincerely believe each contractor performed their task as if they were doing it for their own house. We are reminded almost daily of what an amazing home we are fortunate to have. On windy and rainy days, the house is solid and quiet. Through the cold winter and blistering summer, our utility bills are half of the old house. And while we would love to build another house, we love our home too much to sell it. Victory is the home builder with great managers and the best sub-contractors in the state. Plus, the architect is free!
For several years we contemplated buying an existing home or building a custom home. We visited many model homes in search of design ideas, quality construction, and value pricing. We toured lots of existing homes searching for the perfect plan. And one day we found what we were searching for. It was an existing home on a beautiful piece of land. But, as you already know, the story doesn’t end there. There was another bidder on the house, and we did not get it. We were devastated. Our search came to an abrupt stop. Then one day, a business associate told us about a neighborhood in our desired area that had beautiful lots set on a nature preserve. We quickly purchased a lot and began our quest to build a home that was even better than the one we lost. During our earlier research, we toured several model homes built by Victory Homes of Wisconsin, and were impressed each time with the quality of materials used in construction, the appearance, and unique features that we saw. At this point we decided to meet with the Victory team to discuss plans we had for possible construction of a new home. Upon first meeting Dave Pluim (co-owner and home designer), we found him willing to listen to our needs as well as offering suggestions we might consider in the building process. We were certain at this point that we had made the right decision in selecting a builder. We brought in dozens of ideas that we collected from things we saw at their models and other existing homes we toured. After listening, Dave created a plan that not only incorporated those ideas, but he also made suggestions that we hadn’t even thought of. He created a plan that is very unique, and is truly a reflection of our family. Victory's team of subcontractors were both professional and enjoyable to work with in the construction of our new home. Our job manager was frequently found on the job site checking the progress and the quality of the workmanship. (We know, because we were there too.) We found working with Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Inc. a rewarding and satisfying experience, and we love this home even more than the one we thought we wanted—proof that everything happens for a reason. We would not hesitate to recommend Victory to our friends and family.
